Organize larger product and stock lists on a computer.

Start the local PC editor

The browser edits this device's products, images, and tags directly, not a separate cloud account. Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi and keep GoodsBar awake in the foreground. PC editing requires subscription; Free/Plus can still edit in the app.

  1. Start the service

    Open Settings → Data management → PC editor and start it. Wait for Running and the computer URL.

    Copy the link and open it in a browser on the same network. Keep the host app open.

  3. Verify the workspace

    Check theme and familiar products to confirm the correct device. Export a full backup before bulk edits.

Tips

  • The LAN address works only while the service runs. Backgrounding or network changes may require reconnecting.

Edit one product and its images

Choose a feature on the left, a product in the center, and edit the right-hand form, scrolling for lower fields. Saving writes to the host. Resolve unsaved prompts before switching products.

  1. Find a product

    Use search, grid/list, and filters/sorting for type, state, and tags. Tags within a category match any selected tag; different categories must all match.

  2. Edit and save

    Change name, price, total/current stock, limit, bundle-only restriction, description, or tags, then save. Wait for Saved and check the app. Direct stock edits require careful physical-count checks.

  3. Create a product

    Create a product, complete name, price, stock, and other fields, then save. It appears in the app with an automatically generated code.

  4. Delete an existing product

    Select it and use the top trash action. Confirm moving it to the recycle bin; recover later through the app's recovery tools if needed.

  5. Manage ordinary images

    Upload one or several JPG, PNG, or WebP files. Reorder or remove them; the first image is the cover.

  6. Create a transparent cover

    Open image editing, upload transparent PNG, choose a library or custom cropped background, then adjust fit/fill, scale, rotation, and alignment. Save the cover; transparent source assets remain reusable.

Bulk-edit existing products

Select rows, enable fields, apply to selections, then save all changes. Apply edits drafts only. Editing a cell selects and marks its row. Saving submits all changed rows, even if selection later changes.

    Open Bulk editing → Saved, filter/search, and select rows. Resize columns, scroll horizontally, or use column filters. Selected and edited cells are highlighted.

  2. Edit cells or enable bulk fields

    Edit individual cells, or enable fields such as price, stock, and limit before entering shared values. Disabled fields are not replaced.

  3. Apply to selected rows

    Apply to the displayed selected count and inspect every changed row. Changes are still unsaved drafts.

  4. Paste multiple cells

    Copy a rectangular spreadsheet range and paste at the starting cell. Editable order is name, price, current stock, total stock, limit, description; values continue right/down through visible rows. Overflow creates no new rows. Test a small range first, then save.

  5. Save all edits

    Save changes and inspect failures or needs-review rows. Fix those without resubmitting successful rows. Successful entries show Saved.

Tips

  • Selection without edits creates no saveable changes. Select all affects visible results; keep track of earlier hidden edits and selections.

Image drafts, bulk tags, and variants

Images or blank rows enter Import drafts and become products only after saving. Each needs name, price, and stock. Bulk tags replace enabled categories only; keep unrelated categories disabled to retain their values.

    Open Drafts, create from images or drag files in, or add a blank row. These are not yet in the app.

  2. Complete draft fields

    Fill names, prices, stocks, and limits; select rows before bulk filling. Remove unneeded drafts and save.

  3. Verify created products

    Find the saved rows under Saved and check values. The screenshot shows PC Tutorial Sticker saved at 5, current/total stock 20, and zero remaining drafts.

  4. Replace selected tag categories

    Select rows and enable only intended categories in bulk tags. Select/create tags, apply, and save. Other categories remain unchanged.

  5. Create a variant family

    Select related products, group into a variant family, enter family/dimensions, verify each combination, and save. The app shows the family and its SKUs.

Tips

  • Do not repeatedly import the same images. Deleting a draft is local; deleting a saved product uses the app recycle bin.

Import the host's CSV template

The bulk toolbar downloads the current host template. CSV confirmation creates products directly, not editable image drafts. Save ongoing table edits first; confirmation refreshes the list and clears old bulk drafts/selections. Same names create new items rather than update existing ones.

  1. Download the current template

    Download from Bulk editing, preserve headers, enter names, prices, stock, variants, and tags, then export CSV.

  2. Select and preview

    Import CSV and choose the file. Fix invalid fields/no-valid-product errors in the file. The confirmation preview does not create products yet.

  3. Review counts and advanced fields

    Check valid products, families, new tags, cost fields, hidden POS prices, skipped rows, and sample names, grouping, and stock.

  4. Confirm and verify

    Confirm, wait, read success/failure counts, and inspect new products in the browser and app. Reimport only corrected failed/skipped rows. The app's inventory preview provides more detailed item-level selection than the PC summary.

Manage tags, reconnect, and stop

PC tags share the app's data and existing categories. Create new categories in the app. Saved changes are already on the host, with no additional cloud sync. After disconnects, verify saved results before resuming drafts.

    Select a category/tag and edit name, color, category, and visibility in POS/management filters. Changes apply to all bound products.

    Select products to bind/unbind and save bindings. Reorder tags within categories; check counts before cleaning unused tags.

  3. Verify on the host

    Spot-check a standalone item, SKU, and event availability in the app. Resolve remaining review rows on PC.

  4. Stop the service

    Finish saving, then stop the PC editor on the host. The browser URL stops working.

Tips

  • PC cannot create tag categories. Importing an old backup merges; it does not undo PC edits.
