Overview/Before the event

Tag management

Organize tags and categories, link products, and control filters in management and checkout.

Organize tags by category

Tags support search, POS filtering, and revenue attribution. Separate IP, technique, author, and material. A tag can bind many products: changing its name/color/category affects all references, while unbinding one product affects only that relationship.

  1. Open tag management

Open Settings → Data management → Tags; phones also offer it through Inventory management.

    Open tag management
  2. Review categories and usage

Select a category and check product counts or unused status. Reuse existing categories instead of creating synonymous ones.

  3. Create a tag

Add a tag, enter name, category, and color, review, and save. The screenshot enters Tutorial Series under IP but is still before saving. A library tag is not yet bound to a product.

    Create a tag
  4. Edit a tag

Edit the chosen name, category, or color and save. All bound products use the updated attributes.

Tips

  • Use stable author tags for settlement attribution.

Bind and unbind products

The tag's product page shows its users and supports bulk changes without deleting products. Each variant SKU is a product; check all relevant SKUs rather than only the family cover.

  1. View bound products

Open the tag's binding page, review count, and search bound products.

  2. Add several products

Choose Add products, search/select targets, and confirm.

  3. Remove selected bindings

Select products and remove the displayed count. The tag and other product bindings remain.

  4. Verify through filtering

Filter Products or POS by the tag and check expected products appear. Bundles can inherit component tags or use custom tags.

Visibility, ordering, and categories

Filter visibility controls shortcuts, not tag existence or bindings. Reorder within categories. Custom categories can be managed; built-ins have restrictions. New categories must be created in the app, not PC.

  1. Choose visibility scopes

Set filtering separately for selling and management screens. Turning it off preserves product tags.

  2. Reorder tags

Open tag sorting, drag to the preferred order, and save for this category.

  3. Create a custom category

In the app, add a category with name, icon, and color, then save. It becomes available when editing product tags.

  4. Delete a custom category

Read the confirmation: its tags move to another category rather than being destroyed, preserving bindings.

Tips

  • Inherited bundle tags follow components. Hide unnecessary shortcuts rather than deleting useful attribution.

Delete tags or clean unused entries

Deleting a used tag removes it from all bound products. Cleaning unused tags targets only those with no product usage. This is not the product recycle-bin workflow; verify purpose and counts first.

  1. Check usage

Review the count and open bindings if needed to see affected products.

  2. Delete one tag

Choose delete, read the affected product count, and confirm only if intended. It removes the library entry and all bindings.

  3. Clean unused tags

Choose clean unused, check count, and confirm. Only unused tags are removed.

Tips

  • Deleting a tag differs from deleting its category. Check settlement/author tags carefully.
