Screenshots use the English app and browser tools with English demo data. Follow the numbered steps and use your own product details when you are ready. Click any screenshot to enlarge it.

Find settings and save changes

Settings separates account, appearance, default selling preferences, printing, local PIN, preferences, data, and about. Use the displayed save action after editing. Default selling settings apply only to new events; update an existing event in its own preferences.

  1. Choose a settings section

Open Settings and select a section. Start with preferences and account details, then configure defaults for new events.

    Choose a settings section
  2. Save edits

Use Save or Save changes. If prompted about unsaved edits, save before leaving or discard the draft. Saved settings remain when reopening.

  3. Check existing events

After changing default payments, display, or checkout, open the target event and set its preferences separately if needed.

Tips

  • A default change does not update every event. Printing, labels, backups, and PC editing have their own detailed chapters.

Avatar, username, and workshop

Account details customize the app's profile; this is not a cloud-workspace login. Social links are marked coming soon, so QQ/WeChat contact fields cannot be edited here yet.

  1. Open account settings

Review avatar, username, and workshop name under basic information.

    Open account settings
  2. Change the avatar

Tap the avatar/update action and select an image, or remove it when no longer needed.

  3. Enter names and save

Enter username and workshop name in their respective fields and save. The dashboard displays the saved names.

Tips

  • Social links are not editable yet. Backup import can preserve this device's profile.

Theme colors and app background

The palette colors the workspace. The global app background is separate from POS empty-cart, completion, and idle images. Custom roles follow the primary color until individually changed. Check readability after changing colors or images.

  1. Choose a palette

Open appearance and theme palette. Choose one of the five presets shown: Warm wood, Sakura berry, Sea salt blue, Matcha forest, or Grape lavender. The screenshot reflects the current five presets plus custom colors.

    Choose a palette
  2. Customize individual colors

Choose custom colors and use the color area/hue bar or enter HEX. Select roles such as primary, secondary, accent, workspace, cards, text, borders, and POS price outline. Manual roles are saved independently; others follow primary.

  3. Restore automatic colors

Restore automatic for a single role to follow the primary color again, or reset all to clear every manual override.

  4. Set a background image

Choose an app background and adjust opacity; 0% temporarily hides it. Match the screen ratio and keep the subject centered for cropping.

Tips

  • Separate sidebar/workspace/POS pattern uploads are not available. Set POS state and idle images in event preferences.

Language and currency symbols

Language changes interface text; currency settings change the displayed symbol without converting amounts. Switching language preserves payment QR codes and enabled methods. Events can override the POS currency symbol separately.

  1. Choose your language

Open Preferences → Language and choose English or follow the system. The screenshots use English with freshly imported English sample data.

    Choose your language
  2. Set the currency symbol

Choose automatic or a symbol. Automatic follows the interface language; existing numeric amounts stay unchanged.

  3. Check an event override

Check the custom POS currency symbol in event preferences. Blank follows the app; a value overrides only this event's display.

Tips

  • Changing a symbol does not convert orders. Check the real currency of the payment account yourself.

Local PIN and permissions

A four-digit PIN protects selected areas and sensitive actions on this device. Selecting areas without a PIN does not protect them. Existing PIN protection remains after plan downgrade; verification is still needed to clear it.

  1. Set four digits

Open Local PIN and permissions and enter exactly four digits in the PIN field.

    Set four digits
  2. Select protected areas

Choose available areas such as exiting POS, Products, Bundles, Tags, and History. Product protection includes variant families.

  3. Save and verify protection

Save, leave settings, and enter a protected area to test the PIN prompt. Temporary authorization expires when the app goes into the background.

  4. Change or clear the PIN

After verification, enter a new PIN and save to replace it. Clear PIN and save to remove it and disable protection for selected areas.

Tips

  • Remember the PIN before handing the device to staff. It is not a cloud-account or payment password.

Data tools and clearing the workspace

Data management contains tags, archive/recycle bin, PC editor, backups, CSV, and restore points. Clear all data removes the whole local workspace, database, images, profile, and related payment state. It is not a refresh or empty-tag cleanup.

  1. Choose the right tool

Use tags for categories, archive/recycle bin for recovery, PC editor for computer entry, full backup for migration, and CSV for spreadsheets.

    Choose the right tool
  2. Verify a backup before clearing

Only when removing the device's business data is intended, export a full backup and verify the .backup file exists at its saved destination.

  3. Read the clearing confirmation

Read the irreversible database/image deletion warning. Cancel if merely learning the entry point; do not confirm to troubleshoot one list. Canceling removes nothing.

  4. Clear only for a fresh workspace

Proceed only when the workspace should be removed, verify PIN if requested, wait for success, and check empty catalogs, profile, and payment settings. There is no undo. Later backup import merges data rather than rolling back state.

Tips

  • Export a backup off-device before clearing or uninstalling; local restore points may be removed too. Recycle-bin recovery is a different operation.

Plans, versions, and help

Feature access follows the current plan. iOS Free, Plus, and subscriptions differ; Android test access also differs. Use the app's plan page for current entitlements. About provides version/build, changes, and tutorials; include version and device model when reporting a mismatch.

  1. Check your plan

Open plans for entitlements, limits, and options. If a purchase is not reflected, use Restore purchases where offered.

    Check your plan
  2. Record the version

In About, note version and build. Reopen release highlights or the changelog to review changes.

    Record the version
  3. Open help

Open the GoodsBar tutorial from help/support, or use feedback, privacy, and terms links. Store ratings depend on system store support.

Tips

  • iCloud sync and automatic Square collection are not available. Developer options are not part of routine selling setup.
